Your HUM driver subscription is managed through Stripe Billing, not through your Stripe Connect payout account. This article explains how to access your subscription, pause or cancel it, update payment methods, and request plan changes.

Stripe Subscription vs. Stripe Connect
Many drivers confuse these two systems. They serve completely different purposes:
Stripe Subscription
Handles your billing for HUM plans (Subscription or Flex setup fee)
Is accessed through a dedicated Stripe Billing link sent to your email
Allows you to pause, cancel, or update your payment method
Is not visible inside the HUM Driver app
Stripe Connect
Handles payout processing for HUM-generated rides
Is accessed through Profile > View Stripe in the HUM Driver app
Lets you update banking info and view earnings
Does not show your HUM subscription
These are two separate accounts.
Managing one does not affect the other.
How to Access Your HUM Subscription
When you first purchase a HUM plan (Subscription or Flex), you receive an email from Stripe with a link to your Stripe Billing portal.
This link allows you to:
View your active subscription
Update your payment card
Pause your subscription
Cancel your subscription
View billing history

Pausing or Canceling Your Subscription
Your subscription renews automatically each month.
You may pause or cancel at any time through your Stripe Billing portal.
When you pause or cancel:
Your HUM Driver app will deactivate once your current billing period ends
You can re-subscribe at any time through the Driver app or by contacting Support
No refunds are issued for paid subscription periods

Upgrading or Changing Your Plan
If you want to switch plans – for example:
Flex → Subscription
Sedan → XL
XL → LUX
Please contact HUM Support. Stripe Billing does not allow plan-type changes directly.
We will update your plan on our side and send you new instructions.
Updating Your Payment Method
To update the card on file:
Open your Stripe Billing portal
Select Update payment method
Add a new card
Save changes
Changes take effect immediately.
If You Can't Find Your Subscription
If you do not see an active subscription in Stripe Billing, one of the following is likely true:
You never completed the purchase
You created multiple HUM accounts with different email addresses
You are opening Stripe Connect instead of Stripe Subscription
Your subscription was canceled for non-payment
You are checking a different email inbox than the one used at purchase
