HUM offers two ways to drive on the platform: Subscription and Flex. Every driver must choose one plan before activation. App activation cannot begin until a plan is purchased.
HUM subscriptions are month-to-month, and you may cancel at any time through your Stripe subscription portal. There are no refunds for paid subscriptions.
We review new drivers daily. Activation may take several hours after your plan is purchased. If more than 12 hours pass, email help@humrideshare.com
Subscription Plans (Keep 100% of Fares)
Subscribed drivers pay a monthly recurring fee based on vehicle type and keep 100 percent of all fares. There is no per-ride insurance assessment.

Flex Plan (Pay-As-You-Go)
Flex is designed for part-time drivers or drivers testing the platform.
Flex lets you access HUM without a monthly subscription. Instead, you pay a one-time setup fee and a small per-trip insurance assessment that covers commercial insurance for your trip.
Flex cost structure:

No monthly subscription

Flex drivers earn differently depending on the type of ride:
Flex: Private Rides
Flex drivers pay a small insurance assessment per trip, which is deducted from the driver’s HUM Wallet. A Private Ride cannot be initiated if the Wallet balance is insufficient.
Per-Trip Assessment Examples:
Arizona / Idaho: $5 per trip
California: $7.50 per trip
Flex: HUM-Generated Trips (On-demand/Requested in-app)
Flex Drivers receive 75% of the fare
The remaining 25% covers HUM's insurance costs and operations.
